Degrees and Certificates

Certificates

Certificate programs, which often range from 20-50 credits, give you skills and experience in a variety of career areas. Discover a new professional field or upgrade skills in your current job.  These short term certificates are great for those who are currently working and can not take time off from their jobs to attend college.  You can build upon your certificates towards an associates degree.

Professional-Technical Certificates

Over 50 certificates in programs in healthcare, business, marketing, and more are available at Shoreline Community College. Consider a certificate as a way to get started on a new career or to upgrade your existing skills. View a complete list.

If you are interested in a certificate program, you will need to apply to the College as any other student.  Check the Prospective Students path to review the procedures to apply and register.

Information Technology (IT) Certifications

Specific industry certifications are non-credit classes that are offered through SCC's Continuing Education programs.  These include CompTIA Certifications (A+, Network+), Cisco Certification (CCDA, CCNA, CCNP) and Oracle Certification (DBA, OCP). These programs are offered at our branch campus located at the Lake Forest Park Towne Centre. View a complete list of IT Certifications.

Non-credit courses can be taken by simply registering for the class.  You will not need to go through the admissions process for the College for these classes.  Click here to be directed to SCC@Lake Forest Park.
