Blackboard

Blackboard is web-based software that provides students and instructors a set of tools to post class materials online and easily communicate with each other. Shoreline uses Blackboard to deliver its Online and Hybrid courses, and provide web resources for on-campus Web-Enhanced classes. Students can access the Shoreline Blackboard Web site from anywhere they have Internet access.

Orientation Sessions
On-campus eLearning Orientation Sessions show you how to join your online classroom and get an overview of the online learning environment.

Take an Online Blackboard Tutorial
The Getting Started with Blackboard tutorial is a self-paced online course that is set up in a Blackboard classroom similar to the one you'll be using for your online classes. It is most useful if you take it before your class starts.

To take the tutorial, Log in to Blackboard by entering the user name as bbtutorial and password as guest.
