Registration Information for the coming quarter

New students should follow these steps to register:

• Schedule an Advising & Registration Appointment by clicking here to schedule online.  If you do not have access to a computer, you can still schedule an appointment by calling (206) 546-4101 and selecting option number 4.
  • ** Please note, if you have recently applied for SCC online and received your Student ID number, it will take 24 hours for your new SID to be activated.**
• Take a COMPASS test for math and English placement. You will need to show evidence of successful completion of college level math or English by submitting an official college transcript. For testing information call (206) 546-4608. You can submit all test results and official transcripts to the Admissions Office located in the Foss building (Bldg. 5000)

Tuition Due Dates

• Tuition & fees are due within 5 business days of registering, or the first day of the quarter, whichever comes first.

Tuition Deferment Agreement

The Deferment Agreement is an option for students that are unable to pay the  entire amount of their tuition and fees at once. 

Here's how it works;

The agreement is a contract between the school and you, the student. It allows you to make a deposit of either 20% or 50% of the total tuition and fees on or before the tuition due date. Then the  balance is due by the end of the third week of the quarter.  Both deposits are subject to the quarterly refund schedule.

FALL QUARTER 2009 deferment due dates:

20% deposit = balance due by September 29th

50% deposit = balance due October 13th

There is a $10.00, non-refundable, fee for each agreement, collected at the time of deposit.

If you would like to take advantage of this payment option our Registration staff will be happy to assist you. Deferment agreements must be completed in person.
