The length of time required to earn a diploma
varies depending on the number of credits you
bring to the program. An evaluation of your
transcript will assist in determining course
work needed to earn a diploma.
To receive a high school diploma, you must
earn 19 high school credits. Of these, 13.5
credits must come from the required classes
listed below. An additional 5.5 credits are
earned from a variety of electives that you may
choose.

Beginning with Class of 2008, students are
subject to additional state requirements:
WASL, Culminating Project, and High School and
Beyond Plan.
Students enrolled in the High School
Completion Program must maintain an accumulative
GPA of 2.0 in order to be awarded a high school
diploma.
If you are 18 or older, high school credits
may be granted for on-the-job training, work
experience, military experience, community
volunteer work, marriage and child rearing, and
college credits. Please coordinate these
activities with the High School Completion
Office.
