Shoreline, WA —
Malik Rahim, New Orleans resident and co-founder of Common Ground Collective, a
grassroots organization started to help rebuild New Orleans, discusses the
racism, violence, corruption and criminal neglect experienced in the wake of
Hurricane Katrina, at Shoreline Community College from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.,
Tuesday, May 30th in the PUB. Rahim joins a delegation of Shoreline
Community College students, faculty and staff that traveled to New Orleans to
help in the relief efforts, and former Black Panther leader, Aaron Dixon, who
will speak from 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. Hour-long presentations will be made
from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
