SCC appoints Stuart Trippel

Shoreline,
WA -- Stuart Trippel has been appointed Acting Vice President for Administrative
Services at Shoreline Community College, effective September 1, 2006 through
June 30, 2007. Trippel will work with the college to address the budget,
enrollment, and facilities challenges under the new leadership of President Lee
D. Lambert, appointed by the Board of Trustees July 1, 2006. Trippel has
six years experience teaching accounting at Shoreline Community College as an
affiliate faculty member. In addition, he has 20 years experience as a
management consultant and consulting economist in the field of regulated
industries, where he has performed economic analyses, capital budgeting studies,
and cost allocation studies, and provided expert witness services in these
areas.
He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Washington and
has completed additional coursework in accounting and finance. Trippel has also
passed the Uniform CPA Examination.
Shoreline Community College is located just north of Seattle at
