"Academic advising is a learning process supported by a relationship of mutual respect and collaboration between advisor and advisee"

Student Advising at SCC

Every student is assigned an advisor to help chart a path toward obtaining their academic goals in an efficient and effective manner.

Every faculty member is also an advisor, and advice can be sought from a faculty member even if they are not your advisor.

Advising is available both in-person and online. Online Advising is handled via email. In-person advising is available by appointment. To schedule an in-person appointment, call: (206) 546-4559.

If you do not know your advisor, are not assigned an advisor, or want to change your advisor, please visit Advising and Counseling or Enrollment Services.

A Student may change their assigned advisor at any time for any reason.
