If you need reasonable accommodation in the ASSET or COMPASS testing process, please provide documentation of your disabling condition to the Office for Special Services call 206-546-5832. If approved, OSS will arrange for accommodation with the Testing Center. To request accommodation for the GED test, please obtain a Special Accommodation Packet from the SCC Testing Center. The Testing Center will be closed July 4th and September 1st. The Testing Center is located in the Foss building in room 5225 and the Cashier’s Office is in room 5227. Please pay all fees prior to testing; the cashier generally closes at 4:30 pm.

If you are a new student and would like to schedule Testing and New Student Orientation & Registration appointments on the same day, we offer theses services on the following dates: July 23, August 6, 20, and September 10. You can take the COMPASS test at 2:00 pm (please call the Testing Center at 206-546-4608 for availability) and attend a New Student Orientation and Registration session at 5:00. Please call 206-546-4559 to signup for the New Student O orientation & R registration session.

If you are a new student and you have not already scheduled your Orientation/Registration appointment please click here to reach the Orientation calendar.
